IKEA has partnered with World Relief Jacksonville (WRJ) to donate beds to refugees resettling in Northeast Florida.
There was already plenty to love about the DIY furniture giant: the prices, the meatballs, the countless hours of bonding that come from hours spent putting furniture together. Add helping families looking for a new start to that list.
The donation consists of 100 beds, pillows, and bedding and will help the 59 refugees resettled by WRJ this year and others to come.
The organization resettled a total of 233 refugees last year.
The donation will allow WRJ to spread their funding out in other ways, like helping refugees pay one more month of rent as they transition to life in the US.
Shout out to IKEA for making life a little easier for some of those who need it the most.
